Description
A pair of sterling silver threader earrings with a twin-band ear cuff attached at the top. Each one pairs an open double-band cuff – two fine bands with small ball ends that sit around the ear rim – with a length of fine box-style chain and a slim threader bar at the end.
The clever bit is how they sit. The cuff clips onto the outer edge of your ear without needing a piercing there, and the chain then swags down in a soft curve to the threader, which goes through your lobe. So you get that linked, cuff-to-lobe look – which usually needs two piercings – from a single piercing plus the cuff. If you do have a second piercing, you can loop the chain through both holes instead for a slightly different effect.
At around 11.7cm in total, there’s plenty of chain to play with, and the design gives you a few ways to wear it. You can thread the bar through the front or back of your piercing to change how the chain falls, so it’s easy to adjust to your own ear.
The chain is a box style – small square links that catch the light along their length – and it’s fine enough to keep everything light and comfortable to wear.
Being solid 925 sterling silver, they keep their shine with little effort, and a quick pass with a silver polishing cloth restores the finish if it ever softens. Sold as a pair, with a twin-band ear cuff, a fine box-style chain and a smooth threader bar.
