A pair of long, fine sterling silver threader earrings, stripped right back to a single clean line of chain. There’s no charm or pendant here – just a slim box-style chain with a smooth bar at each end, which is what gives them their quiet, understated look.
To wear them, you thread the bar through your piercing and let the chain slide until it sits at the length you like. The chain then falls in a gentle line down the neck, with the bar hanging softly at the front. At around 13.5cm in total, there’s plenty of drop to play with, so you can wear them long and dramatic or pull them through so they sit shorter and closer to the lobe.
The chain is a box style – small square links that catch the light along their whole length – and at roughly 1mm wide it’s genuinely fine. That keeps the earrings light and comfortable, even if you tend to wear earrings all day. If you have a second piercing, you can loop the chain through both holes so it sits in a soft curve between them, which is a nice way to make more of the length.
Because there’s no fixed shape or motif, these are easy to style. They sit happily on their own for a minimal look, or layered up with studs, hoops or an ear cuff if you like to build things up.
Being solid 925 sterling silver, they keep their shine with little effort, and a quick pass with a silver polishing cloth brings the finish back if it ever softens. Sold as a pair, with a fine box-style chain and smooth threader ends.
