Description
Little origami cranes that move as you wear them. These Sterling Silver earrings have three-dimensional birds shaped like folded paper, with the angles catching the light across their polished surfaces.
The cranes hang from flat French ear hooks, each finished with a silver bead. The hook fitting lets the little birds swing freely beneath the ear.
The crane has a special place in Japanese stories and paper folding. It is associated with good luck, long life and fidelity, giving the familiar folded bird a meaning beyond its lovely shape.
The listed measurements are approximately 12.7mm by 19.05mm. They’re small hanging earrings, with the folded shape giving them more depth than a flat bird charm.
